Our students work with real companies and take on real business challenges and are prepared to enter the work force with the kind of practical experience that employers seek. The many organizational contacts our students experience during their program builds their professional networks and can lead to internships and future jobs. It is an ideal program for students without work experience or with little work experience, and for career changers. In addition to hands-on global opportunities, several domestic and in-class opportunities are available.
The Accelerated Management Program is a full-time day program for those who prefer to immerse themselves in a full-time program schedule. Classes are held Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., in the first year. During the second year, students may choose to take elective classes at night with Flex MBA students.
Students who start in the fall (September) follow a traditional academic calendar with first-year fall and spring classes, a lengthy summer break for internships and optional international exchange programs, followed by a second year of fall and spring classes. Students who start in the spring (January) study year-round with classes in the spring and summer, followed by fall and spring terms with a condensed time frame for their internships. Both fall and spring classes graduate together at the end of their second spring term.
Crummer’s Accelerated Management Program and other graduate business programs offer a strong brand reputation, distinguished faculty, and a comprehensive yet tailored curriculum. With robust career support and a network of over 7,000 alums, your investment delivers substantial returns.
Because this program does not require work experience, all AMP students are required to complete a one-on-one career strategy session, mock interview, and an MBA-level internship. You can meet with a career coach to discuss your individual questions and map out your personal development plan. We help you explore and define your career interests, assist with résumé and cover letter development, prepare for job interview and salary negotiations, and provide job search and internship assistance.
Studying the effects of cultural influences on business is one thing; seeing them in action is another. Crummer Early Advantage MBA students experience international business first-hand by applying classroom learning to real-world challenges through a variety of programs. Included in the program is an immersive travel-based course that takes you and your cohort overseas to gain practical experience in conducting business abroad in the destination country and region.
