Jacob Hancock, M.B.A.
Adjunct Instructor of Management
Jacob Hancock is an adjunct professor at Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and the Executive Director of Seeds Innovation, a team of innovators utilizing Design Thinking to solve complex challenges for global organizations. He is also the Vice President of Strategy for a global non-profit with over 4,000 members. As both a practitioner of Design Thinking and a student of the craft, he unites the worlds of theory and real-life application. His driving passion for joining faculty is to empower students to think about challenges differently and create novel solutions relevant to an ever-evolving world.
Jacob has completed Design Thinking projects in more than two dozen countries. He has lived overseas for over six years in India, Albania, Greece and South Sudan. He considers it a privilege to have been given the opportunity to work with over 100 organizations within the spaces of Design, Innovation and Strategy.
Jacob has expertise in Pre-Empathy of Design, Design Thinking, Cultures of Innovation, Innovation Implementation, Change Management, and Organizational Strategy. He holds an MBA in International Business from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business and a BS from Moody Bible Institute. He is also a ProsciĀ® Certified Change Practitioner with specialties in Change Resistance and Resolving Change Barriers.
Jacob is a devoted triathlete who incorporates daily training into his routine. Married for 16 years with four children, he also enjoys traveling, with Varanasi, India, being a favorite destination. At Crummer, Jacob finds fulfillment in mentoring students and takes pride in shaping the next generation of global business leaders.
